iPhone 16 Series Leaks! What To Expect In Apple’s Flagship Phones?
Apple enthusiasts are already buzzing about the upcoming iPhone 16 series, slated to hit the market next year. Leaks have started pouring in, shedding light on the features of Apple’s next flagship phones.
Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently reiterated expectations for the iPhone 16 Pro and ?iPhone 16? Pro Max, emphasizing the inclusion of Apple’s advanced telephoto tetraprism lens for enhanced zoom capabilities.
Building on the success of the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s tetraprism lens system, supporting 5x optical zoom, Apple is set to integrate this technology into both the iPhone 16 Pro and ?iPhone 16? Pro Max. The smaller ?iPhone 15 Pro? already boasts a 3x optical zoom feature, showcasing Apple’s commitment to offering diverse camera capabilities across its lineup.
According to insights from TF International Securities, the addition of a tetraprism camera in the iPhone 16 Pro could lead to an impressive 160 percent year-on-year growth for Apple’s smartphone sales.
Lens manufacturer Largan, known for supplying exclusive quadruple reflex periscope camera lenses for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, has significantly improved its production yield rate from 40 percent to 70 percent or above, ensuring smoother manufacturing processes.
Intriguingly, Ming-Chi Kuo projects that Huawei and Apple will emerge as ?the two fastest-growing brands in global periscope camera smartphone shipments in 2024.?
When it comes to being the supplier of periscope lenses, Largan is set to be the one for both Huawei and Apple during this period.
Huawei’s upcoming P70 series, scheduled for production in the first half of next year, is also expected to feature periscope cameras.
Beyond camera upgrades, the iPhone 16 Pro models may boast display enhancements. Recent reports suggest a 6.27-inch display for the iPhone 16 Pro and a larger 6.86-inch display for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
These Pro models are anticipated to incorporate 120Hz displays based on low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) technology. Meanwhile, the new iPhone 16 series are expected to maintain the standard screen sizes at 6.12 inches and 6.69 inches, respectively, with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
As excitement builds around the iPhone 16 series, Apple continues to push the boundaries of smartphone technology, promising a thrilling combination of advanced camera systems and cutting-edge display innovations in its upcoming flagship models.
